And, we're settling in for our first night together at home. Everyone is tired, tired, tired.

It's All Good

OK...

• Good news: I took the down the post about the smiling toilet in Lauren's hospital room.
• Gooder news: I'll be setting her up to post here as well and edit at will.
  
• Goodest news: She and Sophie come home tomorrow.

Lauren and I are gonna enjoy one last night of sleep with the baby in the care of the hospital nursery. Yawn, baby, Yawn.

Bright Eyes

Her eyes haven't been open very often yet... This is the first shot where we got em. Hats off to Gramma Gottlieb for the good eye (on getting the eyes).

Turn On The Bright Lights

Had to spend the vast majority of the day without Lil' Sophie Mae. Something to do with Bilirubin (wouldn't Billy Rubin be a fantastic name for a punk rocker) and the need to help her body break it down into an easily crappable format. Or, at least that's how I understand it.

Most importantly, it seems to be a fairly common and not altogether serious condition. All I really know is that it's forced her to spend the day (and possibly tomorrow) behind glass and in a little lightbox. 

So, not much fun, for her or for us, but so it goes...
